Paddy McGuinness presided over this Saturday-night quiz that pitted Rufus Hound and Rhys Darby against each other in a battle of global trivia. Recorded at BBC Television Centre and produced by Roughcut TV, the format stuffed three celebs per episode onto bar-stool chairs and asked them to identify Portuguese festivals or name the capital of Bhutan for points that nobody remembered five minutes later. The seven-week run, delayed from spring after ITV blinked in the talent-show scheduling war, finally materialised on 30 June 2012 and vanished again on 11 August. Guests ranged from Louis Walsh to David Hasselhoff, with Rob Rouse drafted in whenever a punchline needed mopping up. Only six episodes reached transmission; a Christmas special was shot but never broadcast, leaving the series winner technically unresolved and the production office one novelty bauble short of a wrap party.
