Just Tattoo of Us

Charlotte Crosby and rotating co-hosts preside as pairs ink surprise designs on each other.

Starring Charlotte Crosby· Stephen Bear· Danny Robinson
Overview

Charlotte Crosby fronts this MTV reality parlour where friends, relatives or partners sketch tattoos for one another without seeing the result until the bandage is peeled. The reveal is the set-piece, filmed in tight close-ups as smiles collapse into tears or, occasionally, relief. Early episodes paired Crosby with Stephen Bear; later seasons drafted in Scotty T and assorted guest presenters while the studio walls grew more neon. The resident artists, among them Danny Robinson and Charl Davies, translate often-spiteful doodles into permanent ink, their muttered asides providing the only commentary on design flaws. Episodes run an hour with adverts, stitched together from multiple cameras that linger on winces, swear jars and the inevitable phone call to mum. Gobstopper Productions shot five series between 2017 and 2020, amassing 41 episodes plus a clip-show special counting down the most vindictive stencils. The format travelled to Australia and the States, but the British original remains the loudest, its success measured in Twitter hashtags and laser-removal bookings.
