It's All About Amy

Channel 5 reality series following Amy Childs’ post-Big Brother business ventures, cancelled after eight episodes.

Starring Amy Childs
Overview

Channel 5 gave the former The Only Way Is Essex stylist Amy Childs her own fly-on-the-wall series, tracking her first months outside the Big Brother house as she opens a Brentwood salon, signs endorsement deals and fields bookings from presenters and photographers. The eight-part run, narrated by Fay Ripley and directed by Mitch Baker, follows Childs, her florist father Billy, hairdresser mother Julie, aspiring-singer brother Billy Jr, cousin Harry Derbidge and manager Claire Powell as they juggle family squabbles with product launches. Ratings began at 506,000 and slid to 398,000 by episode five, never cracking the channel’s weekly top 30. Channel 5 pulled the plug on 26 January 2012, two months after transmission began.
