Dannii Minogue greets ten single women at a sun-baked Masseria in Puglia, tells them their ideal partner has already been chosen, and sends them straight into a kiss with no names exchanged. The format is ruthlessly simple: pairings stand or collapse on whether that first kiss sparks, and the villa’s nightly "Kiss Off" ceremony forces anyone without a match to leave. Over nine episodes the initial couplings fracture, reform and fracture again; by the finale only three pairs remain, with Cara Kinney and Georgia Robert the only couple still kissing the same woman they met on day one.
The series, spun off from 2023’s I Kissed a Boy, keeps the Italian location, the instant-kiss gimmick and the rotating narration of Charley Marlowe, but swaps the earlier series’ pink branding for electric violet and a soundtrack built around Minogue’s own club track "We Could Be the One". Production company Twofour films across six weeks, stitching each 44-minute episode from dawn-to-dusk footage of cliff jumps, wine-blending dates and tear-stained terrace confrontations, then trimming the results for BBC Three’s iPlayer drop.
Contestants range from 22-year-old Glasgow singer Fiorenza Cocozza, who exits after refusing to kiss anyone but her original match, to 28-year-old Yorkshire sheep-shearer Georgia Robert, whose late-series doubts almost sink the villa’s strongest couple. The show makes no allowance for bisexual erasure: when Cardiff rugby player Lailah Muscat arrives as a bombshell, she chooses between coupled women rather than entering as a spare option for the single ones. The result is a dating experiment that treats lesbian desire as default, not novelty, and lets the camera linger on the awkward, electric pause before someone decides whether to lean in again.
