Four celebrities spend two days living on Britain food poverty line for Sport Relief. Cheryl Fergison, Rachel Johnson, Jamie Laing and Theo Paphitis each receive a weekly food budget below the poverty line and attempt to survive on it. The two-part series aired on BBC One in March 2014 as part of Sport Relief programming. Each celebrity experiences food poverty in different parts of the UK, attempting to understand how households manage on limited food budgets. The series produced by Love Productions took participants to various locations where they encountered families struggling with food poverty. Cheryl Fergison visited a single mother in Wales while Rachel Johnson met a family in Birmingham. Jamie Laing spent time with a household in Manchester and Theo Paphitis visited a family in Glasgow. Each celebrity received a weekly food budget below the poverty line and attempted to survive on it for two days. The series highlighted how families manage on limited food budgets and the challenges faced by those experiencing food poverty in Britain.
