Kayode Ewumi wrote and stars in this BBC Three comedy that pins the hustle of start-up culture against the lived reality of Peckham estates. He plays Kazim, the schemes-always-on dreamer, while Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge is Jeremiah, the cautious coder who keeps their same-day delivery firm from imploding before the van starts. The pilot, shot in 2017 with Daniel Ezra as Jeremiah, was swapped for Blackwood-Cambridge when the full series landed on iPlayer in November 2018 and was given a Friday-night BBC One slot the following month.
Series one tracks four calamitous weeks: chasing seed money from a local crime boss, poaching clients from a smug vegan rival, and discovering that same-day delivery means you still have to wait for your mum to forgive you. A second run, released in March 2020, widened the fleet to five episodes and added parental pressure from Roger Griffiths and Tanya Moodie, plus a love interest who might be more invested in the business plan than the boyfriend. The show never rose above cult status, yet earned a 2019 Screen Nation nomination for Favourite Comedy Production, proof that a corner-shop ambition can still punch above its postcode.
